Direct Download From Youtube.com

Hey guys, I've recently found out a way to download Youtube.com videos directly from the website itself not through other website like www.keepvid.com and others. Not only direct download Youtube.com videos but also almost all the websites videos. Well, there will be a few steps required. Below are the steps in enabling a direct download almost all websites videos:
  • This only works on Mozilla Firefox.
  • First, Bitcomet Download Manager is required. This is available for Free Download at www.bitcomet.com
  • After downloading the setup, install the Bitcomet Download Manager.
  • After installing the Bitcomet Download Manager, try running Mozilla Firefox and open Youtube.com and open whichever video. Right-click anywhere (except on the video) and see if there is a "Download Media Files" button with a Bitcomet icon beside it.
  • If there isn't a "Download Media Files" button, go to the Bitcomet directory then go to tools and drag a bitcomet_extension_signed.xpi file into Mozilla Firefox
  • After that, the videos should be able to be downloaded directly
  • The End

  1. Sheesh, there is a way to make this work for Internet Explorer too! Use Orbit Downloader and Grab++ They work with both IE and FF.

  4. But... This Orbit Downloader is less efficient than Bitcomet after testing. My opinion is, there are limited websites which is available to the Orbit Downloader to be downloaded. So, I still think that Bitcomet is much better.
